Our
wedding gown restoration and preservation
service begins by:
-
Checking for trim serviceability and repairs necessary,
-
Then we prespot hems,
stains and heavily soiled areas.
-
We then dryclean or wetclean
the gown depending on fabric, trim and condition.
-
After
cleaning, we re-inspect and perform further stain removal
if we find it necessary.
-
Then comes the hand finishing to restore your gown to a like
new condition.
-
We
then place the gown in a cotton muslin bag, dehumidify it
and seal it in acid free museum quality packaging to preserve
it for future generations.
-
An optional cotton muslin bag is available to fit over the
box. It can keep the box clean, is washable and still allows
maximum breathibility for the gown.
Store your garment in a
DRY COOL
PLACE. Never store your gown on a hanger!
